As an alumna of an MSUCAC-served high school, Monica has a personal understanding of the impact College Advisers can have. As a first-generation student herself, Monica understands how challenging it is to pursue post-secondary education when there are barriers standing in your way. In addition, her diverse course schedule in college drew her attention to inequities in the world, and she has a great interest in helping close the equity gap in education. On the professional side, Monica hopes to utilize the MSUCAC experience to help her find the right career path for her goals and interests.
Fun fact: Monica has been in color guard for almost 10 years!
Monica is from the Hazel Park, Michigan and graduated from MSU in 2023.
