Community Served
"I believe that access to higher education should not be limited by one's background or socioeconomic status, and I am committed to working toward creating a more equitable system."
Through her leadership roles in the James Madison College Student Senate and First Year Mentor Program, Karah understands the importance of providing guidance and support to students as they navigate the complexities of post-secondary education. She aspires to a career in education policy, so the MSUCAC experience will allow her to deepen her knowledge with first-hand experience in the K-12 setting. A first-generation college graduate, Karah's time working with a college mentor in high school was invaluable - she looks forward to being that person for her students.

Fun Fact: Karah's favorite activities include hiking, art, and public speaking.

She is from Eastpointe, Michigan, and graduated from MSU in May 2023.
