Hesperia High School

Hesperia High School’s mission is to provide quality educational opportunities that empower all students to become responsible, enlightened and productive citizens today and in the future. Along with the core subjects required for graduation, students can choose from an array of elective class options including art, band, computer technology, and more. Juniors and seniors also have the option of attending the Newaygo County Career-Tech Center for an educational jump-start or to dual-enroll in college classes.

The school’s student-teacher ratio is 19:1, and their mascot is the Panther.

Home to nearly 1,000 residents, Hesperia, Michigan is a village in Newaygo and Oceana counties. Residents often take advantage of the area’s natural amenities, including fishing or kayaking along the White River. The area is also known for its local shops and riverside boardwalk.
